During the past month alone, I have spoken with five former clients of mine who had filed a bankruptcy proceeding with us at Steidl and Steinberg, but have filed a subsequent case with a different attorney.
Two of these I ran into in court and the other three had called me to let me know that they were not happy with their current attorney, asking if I could take over their new case. I asked each one of these former clients why they had chosen a different attorney for their second bankruptcy case. Each one of them indicated to me that they felt embarrassed to come back to Steidl and Steinberg for a subsequent filing.
