We don’t serve lunch, but you can bring your own. It’s not because I can’t cook. I’m not bad, really, though my wife and kids are wonderful cooks, but that’s not what we do.
But we do offer a free consultation about your financial issues. You schedule an appointment with one of our attorneys, we listen and offer our best advice, and you go home without paying a nickel.

We have been doing this at Steidl and Steinberg since we opened our law firm in 1985. You are probably thinking there has to be a catch. By offering a free consultation, those attorneys at Steidl and Steinberg are trying to get us to use their services.

Why is the Consultation Free?
Many of you know Larry David from his writing on Seinfeld to his role on “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. Larry hosted Saturday Night Live several weeks ago and talked about his life. If I recall, he mentioned that his friends chide him about his dating young, pretty women, because his friends believe that the only reason they would want to date Larry, an older, balding man, is because of his success that has led to his wealth. So Larry said: “Of course that’s the only reason they want to date me!”
He added that he can’t think of any other reason why a young, pretty woman would want to date him. It certainly wasn’t because of his looks!
Larry sells himself short. He is a brilliant writer and comedian, but you get the point.
We offer a free consultation because we hope you will use our services. Truth be told, very few people who come to see us first end up with another attorney. That is the catch, that you will feel so comfortable with us and your questions will be answered to your satisfaction, that the pain of the financial turmoil you have been going through will finally have an end.
I think you will feel a whole lot better just talking to us on the phone even prior to the free office consultation. Our clients tell us that. They are surprised that we spend so much time with them on the phone and in our office for free. On one thing they are correct:
