From the time when she was a 12-year student in the Blackhawk School District in Beaver County, Lauren knew she wanted to be an attorney. She loved the idea of gaining knowledge of the laws on which our country is built, formulating arguments, and understanding how our complicated legal system operates.
Her parents always told her she could do whatever she set her mind to, and she did, straight through Blackhawk High School, Mercyhurst College, and the Duquesne University School of Law.
Lauren was drawn to Steidl & Steinberg due to the approachability of the partners, the friendly atmosphere and the fact that everyone works together as a team. Her detail-oriented skills and steadfast work ethic has led to becoming a partner in the firm.
Lauren deals almost exclusively with individuals filing for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, but also handles business Chapter 7 filings. Lauren also directs the firm’s property tax assessment appeal practice.
Lauren’s goal in the pursuit of a law degree was to find a practice area that would allow her to fulfill a desire to be an attorney and also directly help others. She has found that. Every day, Lauren can use her knowledge of the law to help others who are in a very difficult situation, and restore some sense of normalcy to their life.
